Plot: A female Jack Russell is found alone and frightened with a badly broken leg on a traveller site in Dagenham, and the rescuers takes her in for treatment, but even their timely intervention may not be enough to restore her ability to walk. A former puppy farm resident is given a chance to train as a sheepdog in Yorkshire, and Inspector Anthony Pulfer sends an emaciated German shepherd off for specialist treatment
