Plot: A group of very different people pool together their funds and buy a house large enough to accommodate them all. Characters include librarian Georgina Ruddy, council official Simon Willow, unemployable Daisy Burke, Yorkshire sea dog Captain Illiffe and his French singing wife, newlywed Hattons and law student Gordon Brent
