Plot: Corey and Lassie stop to help young Johnny Conrad on their way to supervise the cutting of the national Christmas tree--but Johnny is heartbroken when he discovers the chosen spruce is ""the meeting tree"" his father, who is missing in action in Vietnam, and he used while on fishing and hunting trips.
