Plot: A long time ago, a friendly alien race deposited a gigantic Cyclops on an uninhabited island for unknown reasons (the creature actually resembled a one-eyed cross between a human being and a crustacean, rather than the much more humanoid Cyclopes of Greco-Roman mythology), but they constructed a force field around the entire island to protect the people of Earth from the creature. However, the force field is accidentally de-activated during a freak magnetic storm, and the Calico docks on the island to repair damages that occurred during the storm
