Plot: The people of Mecca make use of the Caliph's arrival during the Hajj season, disclosing their wish to expel Al-Hajjaj from Mecca and the Hijaz to him. The Caliph complies with their wishes and puts Al-Hajjaj in charge of Iraq after turmoil and strife erupts there
