Plot: The hydrographic expedition of the Arctic Ocean (or GESLO, 1910-1915) made the last great geographical discovery – the Northern Land (then the Land of Emperor Nicholas II) and was the first to pass the Northern Sea Route from east to west, from Vladivostok to Arkhangelsk, overwintering at Cape Chelyuskin.
