Plot: Kevin Masaya Kmetz, an American musician picked up a Japanese traditional instrument called, Tsugaru Shamisen. This film follows Kevin as he journeys to Japan and performs in Japan's National Tsugaru Shamisen Competition all the while creating unique style and music of his own called, California Shamisen
