Plot: The Space Between Islands is a feature length documentary science fiction film that examines the network of human and non-human relations occurring on a speculative piece of public parkland where the edge of a future metropolis meets a forest. The film combines observational documentary and narrative filmmaking techniques with AI modelling systems, machine learning, computer generated imagery and post synchronised audio in order to suspend both the real and the imagined within the very same frames
