Plot: Short documentary film about Bitterfeld, now part of the city Bitterfeld-Wolfen, which became a symbol for ailing economy, contaminated air and polluted land on account of its numerous industrial plants. The film was screened at the International Short Film Festival in Oberhausen, where it won first prize in the German Competition that year
