Bio: Eugène Py (1859–1924) was a French-born photographer and filmmaker, naturalized Argentine. Considered a pioneer of Argentine cinema, he directed what is considered the first film made in this country, "La Bandera Argentina" (The Argentinian Flag) in 1897
